House Programmes (permanent):

‘Vogel’  : Features/Shorts.  Experimental and avant garde.

‘SunScreen’  : Features.  New waves in cinema.  European to start.

‘Persian Nights’ : Features.  Iranian culture featuring music and cuisine.

‘SineCine  :  Documentaries.  Music.

‘Odyssey’  :  Documentaries.  History of Cinema.

‘Scope’  :    Documentaries/Presentations.  Raising awareness: human rights, mental health, science & technology, ecology, spiritual.

Outside Programmes (temporary):

w/t ‘GlassArch’  :  Located in the Green Room at Black Box, this programme is overseen by Matt Haycocks, School of Architecture, University of Ulster. Also involved is CACity, a QUB research project run by Architecture lecturer, Gul Kacmaz Erk. The intention is to consider notions of place.  Our first programme is ‘Ports & Harbours’.

‘GreenDoc’  :  Documentaries about Green Issues raising awareness specifically for the GREEN PARTY.  UK filmmaker Dean Puckett has agreed for us to screen his work.  To begin with we are screening ‘Crisis of Civilisation’, and later in the year we will be screening ‘Grab The Nettle’. Phillip Allen of NI Permaculture will also be giving a presentation on sustainable living, social empathy, and resource-based economy.

‘Special’ : ‘City as a Gallery’, a 3 month event, curated by Brighdín Farren of PLACE NI. Other organisations include Golden Thread Gallery and Belfast Film Festival.GlassEye contributes a programme of 2 documentaries, ‘Future by Design’ (W. Gazecki), and ‘Future My Love’ (M. Borg), both feature THE VENUS PROJECT, run by J. Fresco & R. Meadows.

‘LoveNI’ : Films celebrating local talent.  Venue yet to be announced.
